Doing Our Part

We are pleased to announce a service, Scotia eRecords, that allows you to access your statements (as well as Annual Trading Summaries, Trade Confirmations, Mutual Fund Prospectus documents) in electronic format (PDF) and opt out of receiving these documents through the mail. All electronic documents will appear just like the paper versions and can be filed electronically, thus reducing the amount of paper you receive from us.

Scotia e-Records is available for clients with online access and gives you the ability to sort and retrieve investment documents easily through our secure internet service. In the coming months, this service will be enhanced to also include all of your trade confirmations.

Benefits include:

• Reduced paperwork and clutter
• Enhanced privacy by accessing online
• Faster delivery - confirmations are available online the next day after the trade has been processed
• Enhanced record keeping and the ability to search for and retrieve specific documents
• Added convenience with anytime / anywhere access
• Advanced confirm search in Scotia OnLine via Account History

Due to regulatory requirements, we must still print and mail out a copy of the June month end statement, the December month end statement and the Annual Trading Summary. Please be sure to keep your mailing address with us up-to-date (get an Address Change form).

If you are currently registered for ScotiaMcLeod Online access, simply sign up for this service under the Accounts and Transfers tab within the Investment section of ScotiaOnLine. Click on Document Preferences under the Document Services left-hand menu Select the Paperless option for some or all of the available document types shown.
